7th race of the season, with a different winner again. This time Evans made a solid race and reached his first victory. Second place for Lotterer who finished on podium for the first time, as Vandoorne who was third. The battles for the titles are tight for both teams' and drivers' championship. Bird started from pole position and turned first, although Vergne desperately tried to pass him. Later on, DaCosta and his teammate at BMW managed to pass Bird, thus gaining the lead. Unfortunately for the team, Sims tried to pass DaCosta for the lead and ruined the race of the leader, who ended up in the barriers. D'Ambrosio was third at that point and after that incident moved to first and took the checkered flag in front of Bird and Frijns. Da Costa won the first race of the season, in front of Vergne. The driver of BMW started the race from Pole Position, although he didn't place his car correctly on the grid. Vergne challenged the Portuguese until the end of the race and despite a drive through penalty, he took advantage of the safety car at the late stages, in order to climb back second. At the last lap, the driver of DS Techeetah, failed to overtake the leader, although he had succeeded twice earlier. Formula E

The 2018 Formula 1 Championship may have finished, but there is no reason to worry about, because the Formula E season has just started! Formula E is a series of 12 races, called e-Prix's, where electric single seaters take part. FIA launched this series in 2014 as an alternative of Formula 1 and not as a supporting championship. That means, drivers do not race in Formula E in order to take a promotion for Formula 1, but that the two championships are in an equally high level. Top car manufacturers have participated in the past, such as Renault, which has won the most races and titles, and AUDI. This year Renault will not participate and AUDI, the reigning champion, will have to compete against other famous constructors, such as BMW (which one the first ePrix of the season), Jaguar and Nissan.
