The weekend seemed ideal for Ferrari, the drivers were dominating the practice sessions and started from the front row. Leclerc set the fastest time in Qualifying, thus claiming his first pole position. Vettel was second, but made a better start when the red lights turned off. But had a faster pace than the German and managed to pass him. Vettel couldn't keep up with his team mate and couldn't get away from Hamilton.
