Williams bounced back from a disastrous American GP, while the Ferrari team would like to forget this race as soon as possible. GP of USA

Hamilton wins the Championship After an eventful race, with many safety cars and virtual safety cars, the finish was very similar. Hamilton won, Rosberg was 2nd and Vettel 3rd. That means Hamilton secured his 3rd title, 2nd in row (first English driver to achieve 2 consecutive titles). The track was wet at the beginning, due to heavy rains all weekend. Because of the bad weather conditions, Free Practice 2 was canceled, Qualifying was held on Sunday morning and ended earlier, with Q2. Tsar Hamilton won again despite starting second, while his teammate and rival retired. On the last lap, Raikkonen tried to pass Bottas and pushed him off track. GP of Japan

Big in Japan Hamilton won his 41st GP, matching legend Ayrton Senna. Although he didn't start from pole, he passed his teammate at the first corner and never looked back. On the other hand, Rosberg who was fastest at Qualifying, dropped a few places and managed to finish second thanks to pit-stop strategy. After a short break, Mercedes returned to winning, with their 8th 1-2 victory this year. Now they have to score 3 points more than Ferrari to secure the Constructors' Championship. Back in action Another 1-2 victory (the seventh this year) for Mercedes. Tough luck for Vettel, who had a puncture towards the end of the race, while he was 3rd. GP of Hungary

In memory of Jules The slow track of Hungary was suitable for other teams to shine. To start of, the two Ferraris as soon as the red lights turned off, passed the front row drivers (Hamilton and Rosberg). Contrary to what happened in Silverstone, the drivers of Ferrari had a good pace and didn't worry about being passed. Hamilton, although the previous days was fastest in each session, didn't make a good start and also went off track, costing him many places. The Briton didn't give up and managed to reach fourth place when the safety car was deployed (because a Force India driver had an accident). When the track was cleared, Hamilton made another mistake and lost more places. His rival and team mate also lost many places, because of a collision with Ricciardo, which resulted a puncture for the German. In the meantime, Raikkonen had a mechanical failure and was forced to retire. With all that going on, Alonso and Button had the opportunity to bring their McLare

RIP Jules...

GP of Great Britain

Mixed conditions... and feelings The drivers of Williams made a brilliant start and took by surprise the drivers of Mercedes. Massa and Bottas qualified in positions 3 and 4, but they were first and second respectively during the first stint. Hamilton was the first to stop for a tire change and after that he had no one in front of him, so he could pick up the pace. The strategy was successful and the Briton was the leader, after the first round of pit stops. The victory was gone for Williams, but more drama was on the way. Rain started at the last stint and Rosberg drove fearlessly and passed both Massa and Bottas. With the rain getting stronger, all drivers switched to Intermediates. Under those conditions, Vettel had a good pace and passed the drivers of Williams, to claim third place. GP of Monaco

Own goal from Hamilton's team Hamilton was heading for his fourth victory this year, but a misjudgement by his team forced him to finish third. 14 laps were remaining, when rookie Verstappen -after a few unfair passes- was trying to pass Grosjean, but hit the French and crashed into the barriers. Hamilton's team called him into the pits for a tire change, just to be on the safe side, while the safety car was deployed. They thought there was enough time for him to return to track in front of his rivals. But there wasn't... Hamilton is still leading the championship, but he lost a great opportunity to win the most prestigious GP of the calendar and extend his lead. Surprisingly, Ricciardo was not penalized for hitting Raikkonen in order to pass him, whereas when Alonso did something similar, was given a five second penalty. Strong appearance from Sainz, who started last and finished 10th. Some improvement for McLaren, with Button finishing 8th. But it's not
